At the University of Florida Center for Arts, Migration + Entrepreneurship, I focus my research on storytelling, with two key areas of interest:
1. The stories we tell ourselves create and influence our personal experiences.
2. Social stories impact individual stories, ultimately shaping our collective experience.
I am fascinated by how personal and social narratives spark human action, driving hopes for improvement or fueling ideologies for a better future. Mainly, storytelling fosters connection, as shared narratives help build and strengthen communities.
